This month will also have teams for Guilty Gear Strive and Melty Blood

Rules for Teams: 2v2 Waseda Style, Double Elimination, Character Lock, No same character on teams , Strive Teams will be 2/3, Melty Teams will be FT1. If you have any questions with teams feel free to ask any of the TOs or @True_Tech. Team costs will be 10$ total per team (so 5$ per player.)
Depending on number of entries for any game will determine if games get pools or not. Strive numbers usually indicate it will get at least 2 pools. Other games can get pools if TOs determine it will help bracket flow and scheduling.
Venue fee is 10$ Game entry is 5$ per game and that directly goes into the pot.
Important rules: We may require masks (even if you are vaccinated) or vaccine cards at this event, this will be updated as CDC and state guidelines change and what TOs think is the best course of action to take.
We will be enforcing a strict DQ code. You will be DQed if your match has been called and your opponent has waited 5 minutes for you. If you informed the TO or pool runner that you were getting water or going to the restroom this will not apply. If you are in another tournament set this will not apply. If you are not in the gaming area for any other reason without informing the TO's of your absence you will be DQ'd. It is your responsibility to be present and ready to play during the scheduled events. If you need to step away inform the TO's and we will accommodate you to a point.
Be mindful that this tournament is scheduled out and pools for Strive will be known ahead of time for competitors to plan your attendance. If both players are missing without a good reason as above (water, restroom, in another bracket) both players will be DQ. If you are winners you will be DQ to losers. If you are in losers you will be eliminated.
Again missing for 5 minutes since the match without a good reason that is also communicated to the TO or pool runner is a DQ. We will not come and find you be around where your stations are during your matches. Once your opponent reports you as missing, it will result in a DQ.
PLEASE UNLESS INSTRUCTED OTHERWISE, WINNERS REPORT YOUR MATCH AND SCORE. NOT THE LOSER OF THE SET, THE WINNER.
An additional rule for Strive. Strive for the monthly will be 3/5 for the entire bracket. This means you will have to win 3 games in order to win the set.
Seeding for Strive will be done by 4PM by the day of the event. This means you must prereg before registration closes by 4PM on the 28th to get seeded. If you do not prereg you will be randomly dropped into one of the 4 pools with no seeding.
Prereg for every event will close at 2PM on the 25th. You can still reg onsite if you did not prereg as long as you pay before the listed start time of each game.
If you bring a setup we need and we use it, you get a 5$ discount on the venue fee. We will list how many setups we need closer to the event.
